CLASS EVALUATION

1) Some thing that I liked about this class was that we were given helpful lessons that would help improve how we live.

2) Something that I did not like about this class was that I feel we did not have enough free time.

3) Something that I think will help improve this class would be to create more interaction with creating programs.

4) A highlight that I had made during this class was my scratch program that was difficult to create but I was able to pull it off.

5) I did really do by best in this class because I would always read my life planning journal and I would always try to follow the rules and tips we were taught.

6) I am reading my life planning journal everyday although I might not record my progress, I am reading.

7) I am committed to being a CTR person because CTR will help me have a brighter future and I should live by it.

8) What I will pass down from this class will be to CTR and never CTW.

9) The thing that I will always remember about this class will be that I can always become a better person.

Key:1 Clarity
"Have vision. Determine what you want to be, do or have in life. Have a sense of direction and know where you're going. If you do not have clear specific goals in life, you are doomed forever to work for others who do."
You should be always be sure to make yourself clear on what you want to do. Never have thoughts of what if just determine what you want to do. Plan your goals for the future have a thought of where you want your life to lead. If you do not have a specific direction on where to lead your life you will never improve yourself.
Key:2 Competence
"If you commit to excellence, opportunities will always come your way. The harder you work, the better you get."
Being consistent at something and not giving up on it is the best way to improve your skills. Commit to things that you really like and many good thing will happen to you. The only way to improve your skills is to work hard at them. Being able to do things successfully will also bring up new opportunities that will bring success to your life.
Key:3 Concentration
"Make the best use of your time. Ask yourself "Is this the best use of my time?" before you start anything."
Make sure that everything that you do has meaning. Their are many things that you are able to do in your lifetime but are those things important enough that you should actually be doing them. Would you waste or time looking at useless pictures on the internet instead of doing things like spending time with your family or applying to get a job. Make sure that the things that you do are the best use of your time.
Key:4 Common Sense
Know the difference between what is right from what is wrong. As we are born we are also born with knowledge to distinguish what is wrong from what is right. Always choose to do what is right since it is common sense. Common sense is something that is natural and does need any reasoning.

Key:5 Creativity
"Except the fact that every human being is a genius. The hallmark of creativity is asking questions. The people who are most creative ask more questions."
The way to be able to learn is to ask questions. The more you ask questions the more knowledgeable you are and the more creative you become. Ask as many questions as you can. Do not be afraid to ask questions to thing that you do not know, asking questions is the way to get rid of your fear.

Key 6: Consideration
"The quality of your relationship with other people will determine your success in life."
"Develop the people skills you need to become a better communicator. Take courses in listening, speaking, etc."
"If you were to learn one new word a day, within 5 years, you'll be the best educated person in history."
Take into consideration the relationship that you have with other people. Don't take those relationships for granted. The way you consider your relationships with other people will determine your success in life. Develop your people skills so that you will be better in communicating with other people. Take as many speech classes or other classes that will help you communicate better with other people. If you were to learn at least one new thing every day you could be most educated person.
Key 7: Consistency
"Dependable, steady predictable work is always superior to fast spurts of work"
Be consistent in your relationships, your family, friends, your boss, your work. Be the person that people can depend upon. That if you say you'll do something you do it."
Make sure to always complete tasks to your full ability. If you rush through the work without giving it your you are seemed as lazy and are frowned upon, but if you do your task steady and predictable it will look far more superior and you will be praised. Be sure you are the person that everyone look to for a favor because of your dependability and always follow through if you take on a favor.
Key 8: Commitment
"No success is possible without commitment. The ability to commit yourself whole heartily is the basis of achieving all success."
"Becoming totally absorbed in your work. Be totally committed."
When you are working on something make sure you give it 100%. Make sure you stick to what you are doing until you finish with what you are doing and never give up on it. Making sure you finish what you started that is the path to success. Don't try to do only half the work and expect for others to be amazed, make sure you finish all the work so you know that you are on the right path.
Key 9: Courage
"The fear of failure is the single greatest reason for failure in life."
Don't be afraid of not succeeding. Failure is a common thing in life. You have to keep trying to be able to succeed. You have nothing to fear since you can try again, this is what life is trial and error. If you never failed at something then you never tried anything in life. The world will always stop you from succeeding, there will always be people that will try to bring you down but all you have to do is ignore them and keep moving forward.
Key 10: Confidence
"You only get confidence by going things over and over again."
Being confident plays a big role in personal power. You can't be as good if you are not confident. You must believe that you can do something without questioning that you cant do something. You have go over thing over and over until you are used to it then you will be fully confident.

Reflection: The 10 keys to personal power are very helpful. They make you more successful in life. They keys that I am applying right now are all of them. Each key is helpful in their own way and there is not one that wont help you gain personal power. The ways that I will incorporate these in my life planning will be to think of ways that are most used by the 10 keys. The 10 keys have changed my life by making me more committed to what I do and make me strive to become better.

The Seven Habits

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Habit 1: Be Proactive
Habit 2: Begin with the end in mind
Habit 3: Put First Things First
Habit 4: Think Win-Win
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Habit 6: Synergize
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw

Habit 1: Be proactive
"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first.  It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger.
In order to do well in life you must take full responsibility and make sure you do everything that is needed in order to obtain success. You should not wait on others and depend on them to help you make your decisions. You must take charge, make your own choices and work to becoming a better person. Only you are responsible for your future life and whether you are happy or not.

Habit 2:Begin with the end in mind
"Control your own destiny or someone else will."(Jack Welch)
One should always know where their actions are leading them. Always know that for every action their is always a reaction. Know what you want to do with a goal in mind. Never loose focus on what you had planned to do from the beginning and follow it through until the end.
Habit 3: Put First Thing First
"Organize and execute around priorities"
Know the things that are important and decide which are the ones that must be done and can be done. Be prepared to make a few sacrifices in the decisions you will be making. Plan out your priorities and execute them in order.  Put important things before anything else.

Habit 4: Think Win-Win
"Think Win-Win or no deal."
To truly bring the best out of you, you should have have your mind set to winning. If you keep in your mind that you have to win you won't only bring out your full potential but you also might inspire others around you to try harder. Don't think about losing it won't take you anywhere if you keep losing as an option.

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood
"Diagnose before you prescribe"
Be open minded and understand situations first so other can listen to what you have to say. You must be extremely attentive and listen carefully to what the other person says. If you do that the person will repay you by listening to what you have to say in return. So if you ignore the person and and don't listen to them they will in return do the same thing to you. So understand first before you can be understood.

Habit 6: Synergize
"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (1+1=3)"
Work together with others rather than to just trying to solve the problem by yourself. The reward of working with a team is better than the reward you would get by yourself. Discover jointly things that you would be unable to find by ourselves.

Habit 7:Sharpen the Saw
Four Dimensions of Self-Renewal: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social/Emotional
Preserve and enhance the greatest asset you have. Balance yourself in you physical, mental, spiritual, and social/emotional self. With this you should be able to easily handle the challenges around you. Living a balanced life means taking the time to renew yourself. Make sure that you are always improving yourself to be a better you.

Reflection: These 7 habits are very effective in changing one's life. If you follow by these habits you will notice a positive difference in your life. I can use these habits to become a highly effective person. By following these habits I can make my life highly effective but if I do the opposite of these habits my life would not be effective so I will try to always follow by these habits.

Glenn Cunningham

Glenn Cunningham-Have Heart
Glenn Cunningham is a man that had went through many horrible things as a child. He had lost his brother and was told that he would never walk again. But none of that stopped Cunningham from moving forward. His dreams were to become a doctor and to run in the Olympics. To many people running in the Olympics is tough enough but to overcome being crippled and still run in the Olympics is an impossible task. But this impossible task didn't stop Cunningham. He did his best all life until he was able to achieve his goals.  What many people do is they stop trying when something gets tough although in reality their problem isn't as hard as they think it is. As long as you place all your heart into something you can achieve it.

John R. Noe "Six Attitudes Of High Achievers"

"the six Attitudes of high achievers"
John R. Noe

1.Make No Small Plans
If you want to be a person with an attitude of a high achiever then you must not make small plans. Go big make your ideas as big as you can think. Although the bigger ideas you the harder they will be, the outcome of that big plan will always be better than an outcome of a small plan. Having a harder plan will be more of an achievement that if your were to think of a smaller plan.
"She turned her can'ts into cans and her dreams into plans"
What I can do to apply this method into my life is to always think bigger in any small ideas that I might get. Instead of only going for B's or C's in school I should be going for A's.

2.Do what they fear
To do things that others fear to do is something amazing.many people fear because they do not know of the outcome.Just thinking about things could put people into a state of fear. It doesn't mean that you have to jump in front of a tiger and fight. Doing things like standing up for yourself or standing up for someone else is something that many people fear.  To act before you have second thoughts is what High Achievers do. What I can do to apply this new attitude is to always think think that I having to yet to lose I should go for it.
-Thinking will not overcome fear but action will.

W. Clement Stone
3.Are willing To prepare
Image result for being prepared
Follow your passion, be prepared to work hard and sacrifice, and, above all, don't let anyone limit your dreams.

Donovan Bailey

Reflection: To be prepared is to have confidence in what you doing. To be positive in your goals and to not quit in your goals. To always know what you're going to do in the future and the present. To never let yourself down. Always be in order to what you want to do. Never be disorganized in your way of life.

4. Are Willing to Risk Failure

In order to become a high achiever one must be able risk not being able to succeed in the first try they do something. No one gets everything on their first go. It takes a couple of tries until you become successful in something. For example you might not do your best in a sport that you have never tried before but that’s ok because the way to become better is to see what you are lacking and improve on it. It is better to try and fail that never have tried at all.
He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life.
Muhammad Ali

5. Are teachable
In order to be a high achiever one must always be open minded. They should learn many ways to find the solution to something. You should be able to ask questions on things that you don't know about. you should be able to put aside your ignorance and acknowledge that you might not be right and there is another way to something.
“Never stop being teachable. If you think you know everything, you will never learn anything.” – Dani Johnson

6. Have Heart
To have a heart is to care for others before you think about yourself. Help others in their time of need. Show mercy to those you do and do not deserve it. Help everyone individual that needs help. Teach others a positive way of looking at things. Take care of the sick. Give to others what you have and they don't. Take every opinion into consideration.
"In prayer it is better to have a heart without words than words without a heart."
-John Bunyan

Overall Reflection
I truly feel as if though these six attitudes could help someone turn into a high achiever. I will take these six attitudes into account and will try to follow by these attitudes.  These attitudes can help me become a better person.
