CLASS EVALUATION

1) Some thing that I liked about this class was that we were given helpful lessons that would help improve how we live.

2) Something that I did not like about this class was that I feel we did not have enough free time.

3) Something that I think will help improve this class would be to create more interaction with creating programs.

4) A highlight that I had made during this class was my scratch program that was difficult to create but I was able to pull it off.

5) I did really do by best in this class because I would always read my life planning journal and I would always try to follow the rules and tips we were taught.

6) I am reading my life planning journal everyday although I might not record my progress, I am reading.

7) I am committed to being a CTR person because CTR will help me have a brighter future and I should live by it.

8) What I will pass down from this class will be to CTR and never CTW.

9) The thing that I will always remember about this class will be that I can always become a better person.

The Seven Habits

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

Habit 1: Be Proactive
Habit 2: Begin with the end in mind
Habit 3: Put First Things First
Habit 4: Think Win-Win
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood
Habit 6: Synergize
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw

Habit 1: Be proactive
"Habit 1 is the key to unlocking all the other habits and that's why it comes first.  It says, "I am the captain of my life. I can choose my attitude. I'm responsible for my own happiness or unhappiness. I am in the driver's seat of my destiny, not just a passenger.
In order to do well in life you must take full responsibility and make sure you do everything that is needed in order to obtain success. You should not wait on others and depend on them to help you make your decisions. You must take charge, make your own choices and work to becoming a better person. Only you are responsible for your future life and whether you are happy or not.

Habit 2:Begin with the end in mind
"Control your own destiny or someone else will."(Jack Welch)
One should always know where their actions are leading them. Always know that for every action their is always a reaction. Know what you want to do with a goal in mind. Never loose focus on what you had planned to do from the beginning and follow it through until the end.
Habit 3: Put First Thing First
"Organize and execute around priorities"
Know the things that are important and decide which are the ones that must be done and can be done. Be prepared to make a few sacrifices in the decisions you will be making. Plan out your priorities and execute them in order.  Put important things before anything else.

Habit 4: Think Win-Win
"Think Win-Win or no deal."
To truly bring the best out of you, you should have have your mind set to winning. If you keep in your mind that you have to win you won't only bring out your full potential but you also might inspire others around you to try harder. Don't think about losing it won't take you anywhere if you keep losing as an option.

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood
"Diagnose before you prescribe"
Be open minded and understand situations first so other can listen to what you have to say. You must be extremely attentive and listen carefully to what the other person says. If you do that the person will repay you by listening to what you have to say in return. So if you ignore the person and and don't listen to them they will in return do the same thing to you. So understand first before you can be understood.

Habit 6: Synergize
"The whole is greater than the sum of its parts (1+1=3)"
Work together with others rather than to just trying to solve the problem by yourself. The reward of working with a team is better than the reward you would get by yourself. Discover jointly things that you would be unable to find by ourselves.

Habit 7:Sharpen the Saw
Four Dimensions of Self-Renewal: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, Social/Emotional
Preserve and enhance the greatest asset you have. Balance yourself in you physical, mental, spiritual, and social/emotional self. With this you should be able to easily handle the challenges around you. Living a balanced life means taking the time to renew yourself. Make sure that you are always improving yourself to be a better you.

Reflection: These 7 habits are very effective in changing one's life. If you follow by these habits you will notice a positive difference in your life. I can use these habits to become a highly effective person. By following these habits I can make my life highly effective but if I do the opposite of these habits my life would not be effective so I will try to always follow by these habits.

Glenn Cunningham

Glenn Cunningham-Have Heart
Glenn Cunningham is a man that had went through many horrible things as a child. He had lost his brother and was told that he would never walk again. But none of that stopped Cunningham from moving forward. His dreams were to become a doctor and to run in the Olympics. To many people running in the Olympics is tough enough but to overcome being crippled and still run in the Olympics is an impossible task. But this impossible task didn't stop Cunningham. He did his best all life until he was able to achieve his goals.  What many people do is they stop trying when something gets tough although in reality their problem isn't as hard as they think it is. As long as you place all your heart into something you can achieve it.

Personal Development quote

Personal Development Quote
“A man without a goal is like a ship without a                  rudder.”
–Thomas Carlyle

One attribute for this quote can be a ship with no rudder is useless like a person with no goal.
Reflection: What this quote is trying to say is that if you want to work your hardest you need an objective. For example football players always play their best because they want to win, their objective or goal is to win the game so they always try their hardest.

This relates to my 100+ Life planning goals by me having multiple goals which means I would be like a ship with a rudder.
